E-mail to officers or active members can be a click away (providing you send me your e-mail address). This will allow everyone to have only one e-mail box to check on what ever online service you desire.
I need some help making this site more serviceable and keeping it up to date. My goal is not to do large amounts of typing for people. Thus I need your information in a format I can use timely. This will allow me to keep the system up to date reflecting the current state of affairs in the RCSW and Respiratory Care.
Format I need for all things that are sent to me to be posted.
Word processor files in PC format only. Word for Windows any version can be used. Should you use a different Windows word processor please save the file in a word for windows format, if possible. (Special needs for format conversions please contact myself)
All typing must use real columns (if you are creating columns) no tabbing over to create columns. This is necessary otherwise I must totally retype the document and thus will not post. (As an example the
2002 list of committee members needs updating)
Graphics must be small, not often, and the lighter type of files as jpg or gif files. (Graphic slows down the performance of the system)
Things that are just basic text (no formatting) can be sent as an e-mail message to myself. We can experiment later with attaching files to e-mail if anyone is brave. My e-mail address is rcsw@www.rcsw.org
Things I would like to be sent regularly:
All officers and committee members e-mail addresses ASAP and changes in them.
The newsletter, (An old one to start with)
A write up from each chapter with meeting announcements, and of all the information / detail you would like included. I have a page to access all chapters created now. I just need a file (e.g. Puget.doc) from each chapter. When you desire to update your information you just send me an updated copy on disk of your WWW file (e.g. Puget.doc) and I will post ASAP.
The flyers for seminars RCSW is promoting (file from not
scans unless very small size as a file).
When the Officers change or phone numbers / email addresses change I would desire being posted via e-mail.
Meeting Schedule for the year. (Basically everything in Transition Meeting hand outs)
Consider a logo for our page.
Please log on the WWW and use your site. I have over MANY just RC related links alone. I have most of the medical companies listed as well for access. Should you find a hot RC related site I have not linked yet let me know and I will link it.

I think we can have the best WWW site of any of all the states. Please help make that a reality giving us all a better tool to communicate with each other and the world.
