This accredited education website offers a convenient way for nurses and respiratory therapists to earn free continuing education credits from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and the American Association of Respiratory Care (AARC). This website is purely educational, offering new courses from a faculty of educators on various clinical topics including cardiopulmonary physiology and disease, ventilator management strategies and relevant technology. If you are unfamiliar with this site, it is a portal to over 215 websites offering more than 15,000 FREE CEU's and CME's. Although your profession is well represented, it is inclusive of all allied health professionals. Our redesign will make it much easier to navigate and more discipline specific. Fanshaw College in London, Ontario, Canada is offering a "Basic Electrocardiography Interpretation" course delivered entirely over the internet. This course makes extensive use of color and graphics to teach EKG interpretation. The demo of the course can be viewed on their site and it looks very impressive. The cost is $95 Canadian dollars or approximately $60 US dollars depending on the exchange rate. Other courses being offered include a Ventilator Waveform Analysis course that looks mighty interesting. Other courses are under development so check with them often.
